Update: View Flash photo tour of completed Campus Recreation Center
The University of Cincinnati's newest piece of signature architecture, the Campus Recreation Center, is the work of Pritzker Prize winner Thome Mayne. The fitness portion of the $113 million facility opened for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public in February 2006.The 350,000-square-foot facility is anchored by a premier fitness facility but also includes housing, restaurants, classrooms a convenience store and more.
The Campus Recreation Center, the final piece of UC's dynamic MainStreet initiative, is easily the largest and most complex facility on campus.
